Question Catalina 27 Tabernacle
I know there are opinions both ways, but we have decided that we need to add a hinge to our mast, as we no longer wish to play the tides, just to get out of the bay to sail.

That being said, does anyone have any photos or diagrams they could share with regards to the lowering and lifting setup on their boat? We've decided to go with Ballenger Spar Systems for the hinged plate, but I cannot seem to find any information regarding the rigging.

Go to Google and then Google images. Do a search for sailboat tabernacle. There are lots of pictures and diagrams. Or
