Cape Horn yacht crossing on the 27th December 2017

Please move if not in the right place.

Hi there,
I was on the Emerald Princess on the 27th December 2017 when we rounded the horn. (I know, big big stink boat, lol)

However there was a yacht rounding at the same time, which we got good video and pictures of. I am thinking this person might be interested in having a copy of their traverse in such a remote area.

Only thing, I do not know who they were.

Where would I begin to find out?

Hoping someone can suggest something.

Regards...........Helen

... maybe really try to post a good picture Helen and possibly someone can identify the boat.

I am sure the owner would appreciate your footage!

Welcome aboard CF, Helen. I just wanted to say that I think it is lovely of you to try and find the boat owner. The picture, with the most detail, is what will help people identify the vessel. One member here, El Pinguino, spends a lot of time in Chile, and it is possible he will recognize it.

I was betting someone the forum would find the person providing pictures were provided but dang...that was fast. Very impressive. I think the owners would love the pictures/video.

Not really, however you could try sniffing around on the net... she seems to be a reasonably 'well known' yacht... I just found this.... https://translate.google.com.au/tran...n/&prev=search
