Can you tell me what boat this is?

I took this picture back in October 2014 around the gulf islands in Southern B.C. I have always like the style of boat but I can't seem to identify it.

Any ideas? I know it's "Arrow" but i'm looking for the manufacturer

I think i've answered my own question. I believe it is a S&S 34. Not sure of the year.

Hi, Matt S,

I thought the S & S 34 had a little tumblehome? Plus, a little unusual to have one under American flag in Canada, most of them were made in Australia, or in Europe?

I really can't confirm what it might be, all bundled up under its rain tents. Do you know what the horizontal item lashed to the backstay is?

Pretty picture, I can smell the pines. ;-)

Yeah, I don't see an S&S 34 there... you sure give a good challenge with that shot! It looked like a Charles Morgan design there at first, like a 38, but that is not quite right either. I suspect it is not an American design....

Hi Ann,

This was take not far from the US border so the boat was likely from Washington or Oregon. I've no idea what is lashed to the backstay. Looks rather unusual.

It is a pretty little spot out of the wind and doe smake for some pretty pictures Here's the original photo.

Matt, this link goes to a stern view of an S&S 34. I think the shape of the transom is enough different to rule out that ID.

Re: Can you tell me what boat this is?

The thing on the backstay is a radar reflector, if we are looking at the same thing.
oh, on edit, the horizontal thing I think is a pole to hold out the corners of a tarp. Just a guess.

The slope on the cabin trunk and shape of the ports is distinctive, but I don't recognize them. Any experts on Canadian boats here?
