Caliber 47 / Tayana 48

We are considering a Tayana 48 center cockpit and a Caliber 47 LRC as a cruising boat with the plan of spending time in the Caribbean and want the flexibility of doing the ICW. Any thoughts on the two boats? We are planning to cruise as a couple and would like room for occasional guest. Thanks for your thoughts.
