BVI Bareboat - Other than Bene, Jeanneau, Hunter, et al ?

Looking for a bareboat for 4-6 that's not a mass produced boat targeted at the charter market. Nothing wrong with them, been there done that, trying to experience a new type of boat.

I've chartered the FPs, Lagoons, don't see the RC cats as much of a departure from that formula. Did a Privilege 39 back in the day and last year a Catana 50.

Also have charted several of the catalina, hunter, beneteau, moorings type boats with lots of cabins jammed in. Last year we saw several big Irwin 65 center cockpits out and about. Too big for us, but a comfy mono built for long range cruising would be an interesting new sailing/cruising experience even if its an older model.

Thanks for the ideas!!

Mark

I think Island Yachts out of Red Hook on St. Thomas has a very good reputation. They charter Island Packets.

Have you contacted an independent charter broker, like Ed Hamilton, with your specific request?
