Bruce Roberts 34

Hello all

Anyone with opinions on the sailing characteristics of a Bruce Roberts 34?
There is one for sale near me and I am tempted by it, but I have absolutely no idea how it sails. My boat needs to be ocean worthy but still able to short tack through some narrow passages in the archipelago where I live (Stockholm/Sweden). I can live with loosing speed compared to modern designs, but I want to be able to move in light wind and chase puffs of wind to press on through those narrow sounds, albeit slowly. It is also very important for me to be able to beat into rough conditions so I need a boat with a good "bite" closehauled in a blow.

The design of the keel type of rudder and boat material are going to have a lot to do with it. Ill leave the answers to the experts. .
