Bristol Channel Cutter acquits herself quit well in Trans Atlantic race.

Jester Challenge 2010. A single handed race from Plymouth, England to Newport, Rhode Island. For boats 20-30'

1) Peterson 25' - go fast, fin keel
2) Wharram tiki - 21' catamaran
3) Dehler 29' - modern fin keel
4) Twister 29' - modern full keel
5) Bristol Channel Cutter 28' - heavey displacemnt full keel

12 yachts retired for damage to bulkhead, masts, steering gear and other none boat related problems.

Wow,what an outstanding performance from the little Wharram catamaran,i never really think of Wharrams as performance boats,just extremly seaworthy.

BCC is a great boat that would be even greater if the designer ever thought about me spending endless cold, wet and uncomfortable hours in the cockpit.
