At the risk of making some Irwin owners upset.... IMHO the Bristol is by far the better built and better performing craft. If not for the lesser headroom I'd have bought a B41 back in my mono days.... ended up with an Endeavour 52.

If you've never closely inspected either - or ANY boat you're considering for that matter - spend the airfare and arrange to spend several hours on each before you ever write a contract. It's time and money well spent.

When one talks about well-built American boats of the 70s and 80s, Bristol is always in the mix, along with Hinckley and some others.

I see this is an old string - what did you do? Went with the Bristol, I hope!
