I have a nordica 20 with a trailer which can be used to launch and retrieve the boat
. Launching is easy. But retrieving is a different thing... These full keelers need to rest on the keel
and then have the pads adjusted to stabilize them. Which means that you need the trailer in exactly the right amount of water
and dead calm sea to get it right in place. For me this is the most delicate and time intensive job. My boat
rides the travel-lift. As for the mast
is a matter of having the right rig to raise and lower it and is a 20 min job if you are used to it.
Personally, if I wanted to trailer sail, I'd find a trailer sailor. These bristols are small sea boats, just like my nordica, alberg
22 and others. Travel at 65mph, launch and go explore for a while. 100$ for That travel lift
is worth the hassle for me.
Ps: love those boats!
