You need to post in http://ww.topica.com/csy Having owned a CSY 33 I can say you can put a bow thruster in any boat that still floats. Some folks on the list have done it. It's only a little bit (OK I lied) of money. Ask on the CSY list to get the details. It just takes two big holes in the bow and it's done.

Does anyone know if there is room to add a bow thruster to a CSY 44"
][/QUOTE]
Yes......
Ya can add a lot of things to the CSY 44. Them boats are about the biggest and heaviest 44 foot boats out there.
A bow thruster is peanuts to the CSY 44s..
Thanks for the response. I had a guy come out to the boat and said due to the location of the waterline forward (or lack thereof) and the amount of space required on the hull (above and below) he does not think it is feasible to put one in. Does anyone know someone who has actually done it and how I can get in touch with them? THANKS
Amen to that!! We looked at a 44 walk-through and the engine gauge panel was removed from the cockpit side walls.... looked like it was about 1.5" thick just in the cockpit bathtub!!
Down where the keel meets the hull it's 4 3/4 inches thick. The transom on our CSY 33 is 1 3/4 inches thick. These boats can dish out some serious hurt to most anything.
