Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds

Long time lurker, recent poster -- is there a sister thread to this one for all those seriously-WTF boats for sale? I recently saw something that was under 30K, and possibly "noteworthy" for all the wrong reasons, but I don't want to clutter up this thread with that sort of nonsense unless it's actually welcome.

I'll start my own thread for it if, somehow, one does not already exist. Thanks!

This thread seems to be the place for <30K boats. There's another thread for "free" boats around here somewhere too.

Here's the free or close to free one: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ee-197948.html

This seems like a deal:
20K for a Corsair F-31

https://towndock.net/news/endeavor-32-auction

Endeavor 32 being auctioned at a local yard in Oriental, NC.

Probably only applicable to local buyers as no online pictures seem to be available.

Current bid is $800.

Yep, the same listing kept coming up in Florida and was called out as a scam there as well.

Bummer, if I could edit my post I'd remove the link so no one else wastes their time.

Thanks for following up unbusted. My eyes got big too when I saw the price, it really was too good to be true.

Bristol 27 for $6,500 CDN
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-sailboat/bel...-27/1534265822

It's listed as 'Bistow' and manufactured by Boston Whaler, which is wrong...
I'll call them tomorrow to see if the boat is still available.

Only being able to consider boats in Canada is drastically reducing my choices...

I spoke to the owner. Seemed fine, no speech impediments ;-)
Probably only sailed on fresh-water.

He is the owner of a marina and also listed a Huter 27 (Hunter) for $10,000.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds

Multiple boats in Quebec, Canada, eh...

I was looking for a marina on/near Lake Champlain and found this place
Marina Rose Des Vents

They seem to have a bunch of abandoned boats that need help.

A L'Eau seems nice, but I can't place the model. Alberg 37' ?

"Toute offre raisonnable sera considérée" means all reasonable offers considered...

They are open in the winter, with power available, so I could work on it over the winter and be ready for the spring...
