Hi, TEV,
You could offer it for sale separately here on CF. Make the price $1.00. Near as anything to free. Free to good home, but needs work. Good luck with it.
Ann

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
Thanks Ann for the info I will see how it goes, I have a couple people that are showing interest in bringing her back to life. Plan to get back to the boat hopefully this week and start engine (as I'm told it runs) and checks sails and furler on boat, plus try get an idea what of the additional sails and hardware he had put in storage. I own a portable fuel polisher so need to look for tank access if new owner wants to borrow before they run engine for a relocation.

Oh man. Please still be available! I’m looking for a boat to restore while living aboard. And I love the Telstar hulls and fit and finish. Willing to move quickly and pay any storage costs associated with the boat until I can get out there to prep it for shipping and ship it to the East Coast where I’ll refit it. Might as well start with new rigging, and painting the mast since I’ll be pulling it to ship!
Dibbs!!!??? Haha

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
West Sail 32 so POPS had this listed @ $25K for a long time and i think its still on their site so you can look there too. But the owner must be anxious to get out so the gave it to Boat Angles ministry and its on EBAY. Currently less than $8K with 2 days to go.
Who knows without actually being there but looks OK and has a new engine with a couple hundred hours that might be worth the money alone. Has a steering van they say it needs a pully. I guess they aren't a sports car but would probably get you about anywhere.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
Found this on sailboatlistings today.
Cal 39 MKII, west coast, seems to be in pretty good shape for 27,000 and the owner is expecting an offer. So, maybe someone on that side might want to check it out.
Cal 39 are well respected Bill Lapworth design. I think it could make a good cruiser for some people.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
Unfortunately I cannot post a photo from Yachtworld here due to changes in the Yachtworld site.
However, I do want to share some boats here that I think some CF Members may find appealing.
I seem to recall someone on CF was looking for a "small center cockpit" boat.
This boat seems to fit that description. As I was looking at the photos, I thought of how this could be a good boat for some couple who want a "cabin on the water" with an AFT cabin double bunk. Despite the small size (30' LOA), it does have a walk-through passage from the saloon to the aft cabin. That would be nice if kept in a rainy location.
Or, how it may be very good for a young family, with young children who would feel safer when down below, but able to move back and forth from bow to aft cabin while below (or in rain, cold, etc.).

S2 pics
At the bottom of the Yachtworld listing there is a link to the broker's homepage. Go to that page and the pics can be saved.
