Perhaps your memory's foggy, not from the cocktails, but due to the exhaustion of such a looong day, completing a course designed for post Reagan era boats.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
One of you guys who's a little more tech savvy then I am should keep an eye on the Milwaukee and surrounding areas c-list there are usually a couple of decent looking boats on there , also check Michigan, most of these lake michigan boats are in decent condition because people can only use them 6 months out of the year and I've seen a lot of nice ones well equipped advertised for less than 10,000 .

Judie and I had a wonderful visit with the owners of this boat, who are great people. It is a beauty! It wasn't the right choice for our purposes but she has been lovingly cared for and had many exquisite custom additions, unique woodwork that anyone would be proud to own. I hope someone falls in love with this boat and sails off to great passages, and shares the experience with us.
If you want a simple classic boat with fine touches, this could be a perfect answer and it's worth the lovely trip there to look.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
WESTSAIL 32,turn key cruiser, epirb, ssb etc OBO
In Mazatlan Marina
This poor fellow would probably let this one go for even less than $19K
Just saw it in the marina, looks like he had a rough trip and needs to unload it.
Would need some work, but looks like some good gear onboard.
You would already be in the semi tropics and have skillset here to fix it up.
Best of Luck,
Ken

The ad says Mazatlan, but he's going to show the boat in Ensenada? That's a pretty decent haul to get the boat up there.
