Thanx for letting me know that. Perhaps it is because I joined the group. The groups Facebook page is "Westsail".
The ad read...
Dana Whitney
Allow me to introduce myself, I go by Whit. My wife and I have been the proud owners of a 1976 WS42, “Nightwind” for 35 years. Unfortunately of those 35 years only 5 were spent on the water. For the last 30 she has been sitting on dry ground. To make a very long story short, we have sold the property she is sitting on and the new owners would like to see her go. Life happened for us and we now live 3.5 hrs away and own a farm. So my hope is to find someone that wants a project and can move her quickly. She is available “as is, where is” for $10 (ten). She is located in Mass, 30 miles west of Boston. PM me if you are interested. I really don’t want to scrap her. Thanks.

Just go to the Westsail Facebook page, scroll down and it is right there. I am not the seller...just trying to turn someone onto it.

I'm not really a heavy displacement kind of guy (though I might be talked into it) but those Westsail 42s had a good reputation as I recall. BUT check if it is factory finished or not.

1984 Passport 40 - $20,000 USD
Price just dropped another $10K.

General reviews seem really good for the Passport 40 as a yacht designed for a couple cruising as opposed to a dock queen. I have to wonder what is wrong with this one; I don't see any clues in the listing. Others currently listed are over $100K.
