This looks like a very clean boat, with decent gear. I don't have experience with Vetus diesels, but it has low hours fwiw.
Interior is nice with lots of light. Propane stove and heater.
A little old fashioned - long overhangs, and long keel.
I'd say it's a little overpriced, it's old, but they had a good reputation in their day. It appears to have been well looked after, so it might be worth looking at. And it's a beautiful location.

Loved my old Luders. Even more after I converted from wheel to tiller. Somewhat tender and rolled downwind but otherwise very seakindly and well built. Also quote fast for its era/type
This one looks as good as they get, repowered, etc. I sold mine for 23-24K in 2015 and it was probably in same condition

I have posted a boat like this before. They have a cult following in Canada with the unconventional wishbone rig, but they sail quite well. Good coastal cruiser.
They have huge interiors for the length. This will keep your marina fees down!
The mast is far forward in the anchor locker, iirc (I crawled into one of these to rewire someone's running lights!) Nice bright interior.
This boat looks to be in great condition for its age. The Westerbeke diesel is probably original at 2100 hrs.
We know someone who's singlehanded one of these to the Caribbean, and several couples lived on board for prolonged cruises.
Edit: Not far from Detroit, on north side of Lake Erie.

I emailed him earlier about engine type.
Still waiting. At that price the engine is mostly like A4 or ancient diesel

A new 6 hp outboard is always an option for the Alberg 30 and quite inexpensive for a new engine.

I quite agree! These are nice, tough little boats. They were well-built in the first place, and this one looks well-maintained.
And if you take out the engine, you'll have a lot of storage space

I emailed about the Alberg 30 almost immediately after the ad was posted and never received a response.
