Yes I'm tempted by all of them ,the difference in price comparison to the UK is about 50% in a lot of deals ,

It does look lovely. It has that stark, rugged beauty that I comes to my mind when I think of the Scottish islands. I have to admit, however, that I had heard of its namesake location in Australia, but I had to look up the original.

I did some scuba diving at St kilda the water can have up to 100ft visability , the seal pups come within an arms length to have a curious look ,legend has it that a Spanish gallion wrecked on the rocks , we could not find it ,there are old houses there left behind by the islanders who lived a very tough and harsh life

I'm not sure if that's a fridge/freezer or an air conditioner?
No apparent anchoring system. No boarding ladder.
Exterior of the boat needs cleaning and wood refinishing. Painting will improve the appearance.
Bimini/dodger not shown. If they are in the same era as the sailcover, will need work, perhaps replacement. Sails are probably old. Running rigging, standing rigging too. Fenders are pathetic.
Elderly engine, but lots of room to work on it, I'd say.
Elderly electronics, but the installation is nice. Someone cared, once!
Large interior, somewhat gloomy, fixed ports (?). Some floor damage (but I'd paint that with something like Kiwi Grip anyway). It's hardly worth doing a new teak/holly sole.
Some of the interior wood panels could be painted to brighten things up.
Interior upholstery looks reasonable.
4 S/T winches. (Service them if you're going to use them!)

Not sure, the masts look like metal. The fore mast is on a tabernacle. The main is keel stepped, I think. The spars might be wood, but they could be aluminum.
The bowsprit looks like wood and should be inspected carefully.
Exterior looks pretty good. Interior needs new upholstery and painting at the least.
I'd add a manual windlass for the anchoring system.

LOL, I've been doing a lot of traveling for work and sometimes I don't have time to check everything. I was in Florida last week, but nothing that that seriously tweaked my interest.

That's a lot of canvas up there. It's a salty looking boat, but might be a handful to singlehand.
" Please no dreamers or tire-kickers."
So basically he's saying that he doesn't want someone that's dreamed about a boat like that to view it??? A good percentage of people that are looking for a sailboat are dreamers. I know that I'm chasing my personal dream.
