Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
The 3 regions in the US I am seeing the best sailboat deals are New England, PNW, and Gulf States.

How do they sail? Do you need a lot of wind to get it moving at 22000 lbs?

To me it is the price vs what the boat has to offer inside. Speed is not as important to me as I live on an inland lake. Depending on the time they were built some are finished nice others not so much. I am looking for a Ketch but this Gulfstar looks rather clean. I have some off time coming up but the way value priced boats sell these days it probably will be gone. And yes I am figuring in the cost of transport too.

Well said. Nothing goes to windward like a boat on a transport truck!
