Thank YOU Andy, for the positive feedback and encouragement. Kind words are always appreciated and it is good to know that some CF members appreciate the thread and posts. I do hope it helps a CF member find their next boat. Good Karma.
And, I found a very cool boat just for you. But, it does not fit this thread topic, so I am going to begin a new thread today with a different focus (and not limited by the $30K maximum this thread has). Stay tuned!

LANDSEND and SSGPITT,
Thanks for the positive comments! I will keep 'em coming as I can or as I notice something that fits this thread topic.
You folks should also monitor (subscribe) to the "Boats with Shallow Draft" thread I started, as some of those boats may be found only in that thread and not in this one, though many do crossover (because they fit the criteria of both threads).
I am going to be starting a new thread topic soon, with more boats that cost a bit more, but may be of interest. Stay tuned.

Chiming in with the appreciation! This thread has been great to follow. I'm searching right now and happy to post good finds as I happen by them.
Is posting the link enough? I'm not sure but you seem to be individually linking photos.

Howdy Gabe!
Thanks for the positive feedback.
You are welcome to post links, opinions, anecdotes, photos, data, specs, etc.
As the TOP or Original Post (my introduction that started this thread) states, I encourage CF members to participate and add stuff. But, it is MOST helpful if you post more than just a link. We don't want this to become simply links. It is important to try to post a photo(s) and something that describes that boat, its location, Asking Price, or some aspect of it that makes it noteworthy. THAT is what adds value to this thread, more than just a link.
As for linking photos? It is easy to add them to your post. You can add up to 12 photos per post. It takes a few steps which are explained in an easy to follow video on youtube. Look below for how to:
How to post a photo or photos on CF.
I encourage you to post photos in CF because everyone enjoys seeing photos of boats and photos of gear helps to clarify communications about problems and helps others help one another with answers that fit questions. When you post a comment, you can use the "Advanced" / "Manage Attachments" function to add up to 12 photos to your post. It first allows 6 photos, but if you upload six first, you can then add another 6 for a total of 12, if you want.
You can find a very easy to follow video instruction about how to post photos on CF by going to the FAQ here or look on YouTube for a very clear video that shows how to do it. It is easy, but not intuitive. The video is a big help. Here is a link to the video.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
Liberty Pied Piper 28
Steady's NOTES:
This is a charming small cruiser, with a full keel and cutaway forefoot. I happen to like traditional styling, so I appreciate what the builder has done with the interior layout and furniture, etc. Noteworthy are: the nice interior finish in wood (this may be custom), the multiple opening bronze ports with screens, the head, shallow draft (4'), and styling. From what I can see, it appears to be a nicely designed small cruiser, and one I find appealing.
NOTE: The photos and sale link and specs I post are here to ILLUSTRATE this type of boat and features. The photos may be from a mix of boats. The specs may not match the linked boats. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
Bristol 40
The Bristol 40 was designed by Ted Hood.
Motion Comfort Rating = 36.57
Draft = 5' 4"
Mast Height = 46 feet
NOTE: Some of the Bristol 40 boats were sloops (or cutters), some yawls. Some have centerboards.
There were 149 of the 40s built between 1970 - 1997. Sail area for the yawl is 709 square feet, which is essentially the same as the cutter rig (710 sq ft).
_______
Photos in this Post
The photos I post here are to ILLUSTRATE the features and design of a boat. The photos are from a mix of sources and not all of the photos may be from any sale listing links I post. You should look carefully at each boat. I am posting a mix of photos to ILLUSTRATE what one might see in this model of boat so CF members can learn something about the boat design, features, and condition.
_________
SPECIAL NOTICE
Bristol 40 Yawl, 1970
Asking Price = $17,500
Draft = 5' 4"
Mast Height = 46 feet
Location = St Johns USVI Yacht Harbor Marina
Steady's NOTES
I saw this listing posted yesterday, and because it looks like a nice boat that may fit the needs of some CF member, and because the price and gear and condition and location may fit some members, I am posting it here. I have NO connection to the boat or seller. I am posting this to ILLUSTRATE what is on the market for a type of boat and asking price and condition.
Note: this boat has a newer Hard Dodger. I happen to like the dodger and would want one similar in design, but this is not typical for this boat design. It is an added feature. If any CF member recognizes this as a kit or aftermarket product, please let me know for future reference.
Note: There are two lists of equipment found on this boat. The lists are shown as handwritten lists in a photo. I will attach them. The owner stated the engine has just 470 hours on it (Westerbeke W46).
Special Sale Listing
I don't have a link for this boat (SVERIGE), but here is the info that was posted on Facebook in a sailing group in which I am a member. Remember, I have NO connection to this boat or seller. Caveat Emptor!
Owner - Stephen Kemp
Phone - (732) 261-5436
Location E Dock Slip 33 St Johns Yacht Harbor Marina USVI
Reason for selling ($17,500) is "death in family forces fast sale"
I will post the photos I have of this boat in a following post.
_________
Recent Asking Prices
I did a quick survey of asking prices for Bristol 40 boats built in 1970 - 77. Here are some prices I found:
1970 = $75,000
1973 = $37,000
1974 = $49,000
1977 = $39,000
As with any boat, the condition of a particular boat is most important. Buyer should always remember "Caveat Emptor!"

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
ADDENDUM to post above .
SVERIGE (Bristol 40 Yawl)
This boat SVERIGE has a hard dodger. I asked the owner about that dodger and how much it cost to fabricate or purchase. Here is his reply:
"It took me 80hrs. A Trojan 32ft fish boat with a fly bridge. Used cored flybridge deck and about 20ft hull plate midships. It's solid composite with green Solex Laminated windows. And a good attatude to get it right. If you have a 40 Bristol this would fit it. All custom cutty's need to flow with the lines of your boat.
Priced around 8K for labor, 4k materials, 6 hundred for glass, stainless handrails 12 hundred, 13.9K. Not including hatch, lights, solar panels."

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
So you get a dodger worth 13k and a boat worth 4k. There is something he isn't talking about that a sounding hammer will find.
