It makes me wonder how bad the exterior is, considering that they didn't show any pictures of it? Still, if I was in the neighborhood, I'd be curious enough to consider checking it out.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
I recently posted a couple of boats in the " Free, or close to free!" forum on this website that people might find interesting. I'm not sure if anyone is still monitoring that fourum. I've posted a fair number of boats there over the months and none of them get much in the way of discussion. Maybe I should just post them here.

I just hope they've taken away the previous owner's...er...remains!

Thanks! Lurked for years without an account, I figured it was time to make one.
I'm a little hesitant on this one, as the price is ~1/2 what other Baba 30s are going for. Need to go look at it I guess.

Always get a survey

There’s plenty of reasons for and against getting a professional survey.
Everyone will have a different skill set and level of experience with boats, but self-surveying is more than appropriate in a lot of cases.

If you have enough experience you’ll see more then a surveyor will. It’s up to you. But I see things surveyors miss.
Surveys tend to be full of the “ bleeding obvious “ “ the flexible gas pipes must be replaced “. Yep, thanks , I can read the date code too
