Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
40 foot, 40 years old, claims to be original owner. If pictures are recent, looks like a lot of boat for $25K:

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
I love the Columbia 34. I have surveyed plenty of them and they are a big little yacht. Pity this one is so trashed. Just as well we don't have smelling abilities via the net.
Cheers

45 foot Sail Boat - $24,500 (South Houston)
This one has been on E-Bay and nobody is bidding on it at the above price. What they don't mention in the Craigslist ad is that it sank in fresh water during the freeze this winter. It has also been vandalized and at least one of the winches has been cut out of the deck. You can see the pic of the hole in the E-Bay bid, but they don't show it here. It might actually be worth it if you can get them down in the $19K range and the vandalization isn't much worse.

Yeah, this one looks pretty good to me too. One question however: why do the designers of these sort of motorsailer-ish boats always put the dinette athwart ship? Don't they think these boats heel?

46' Hans Koll Schooner
It's a ferro boat, but it looks nice. If it really is $1500, then the engine and a winch or two are worth the price alone. It comes with a lot of stuff. If you're going to purchase it, just make sure you know what you're doing.
