Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
1972 40’ Mariner sailboat - $29,500 (Key west)
Not a great deal, but not a bad deal for a relatively nice boat. I've always liked the look of this style vessel.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
Hunter 466, Lasalle, MI
If someone wants to check this on out, feel free. Seems like too good a deal to be real, but the phone number actually does appear to go to a company called Reed Yacht Sales. I'm curious. More than likely a typo, but it's not the boat I'm looking for and I'm not curious enough to actually call them.

Actually, maybe it’s not a typo. Same boat on yacht world. I am not a big fan of hunter, no offense, but for that price you can’t beat it.

They must have changed it. Says $150,000 now

That's more like it. Their phones must have been ringing off the hook.

Ya...other than all those things, it's in awesome condition!

Actually, if the pics are really representative of the boat condition and those two things are the only issues, then it's a pretty sweet deal. Replacing a hydraulic ram shouldn't be that difficult. I'd worry more about he condition of the engine, but if it was running okay when it was last used, then with a little prep, it "should" be okay. If it was the boat I was looking for, I'd seriously consider it. As always, I'm sure that price is negotiable depending on your negotiation skills.

For $15K, a good liveaboard.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
48' Catamaran Project - $20k OBO - $20,000
I wasn't sure if this one was worth posting. It is a project boat and appears to need a fair amount of work, but it is a big boat. I just figured, when in doubt, post it and let people make their own decision on whether it's worth the price.
