Project boat - There's no indication of what the overall condition of the boat is. It looks like it's been sitting there for a while. Apparently it has great tackle since it looks like it's been through at least one big storm. This could be a screaming deal (or not) for someone.

The mizzen mast is mizzing. She should be ketch rigged.

Last Chance Pilothouse Ketch Fixer Upper - $4,000 (Newport)
This one is kinda a tossup, but worth a peek if you're in the area. It would depend on how much of that is rot and how much just needs repainting/varnishing. I can't really tell from the pix. Seems like you might get a new engine and an outboard. The engine by itself is worth the price.

Yes, you are correct. It is a 34.

Re: Boats Less Than $30K Recent Noteworthy Finds
For my first contribution to this site: two Tartan 30s. One is in the Newport RI area and the other is on Cape Cod near the Canal.
I visited the Cape Cod boat and it looks promising. It has the galley amidships on starboard side. Not my preferred model....
The other boat's owner/seller has yet to reply to inquires. It has the aft galley interior.
There are many things about the T30 to appreciate. My interest is as a mini cruiser. I sailed one often years ago and they are a pleasure to sail. Both are tiller boats which I prefer. The Atomic 4 is of no concern as I would replace it with either a diesel or maybe an electric propulsion system.

Priced for a doable project.

Why do they have to be so far away when I can't travel. That Tartan in Providence looks promising for me even though it doesn't meet the requirements I'm looking for in my live aboard. It would get me on the water feeling the breeze.

Captain Who
I agree. I think it says the owner is "done with the boat and please someone come and take it away from me." I think the Pocassett boat is pretty much yours for the asking. Owner is a really nice guy.
When I put my boat up for sale I had lots of pics. Saved me a lot of tire kickers.
We are looking for a restore project for old-person coastal cruising. The T30 ticks a lot of the boxes but not the wife wants to garden more box!
Oh well...

Ben2Go
I understand. I am on Cape Cod. Technically, I have to quarantine after visiting RI! Of course, I do.
