I'm starting my
shopping for a sailboat! Suprise. Not like you guys get any of these. Here's my situation. I live inland in
Ohio. The closest bodies of
water are about 30 minutes away. I plan to keep the
boat at one of these bodies of
water...however they each have an average
depth of around 7 feet. Complicating things further, I would like something small enough to
trailer around to larger bodies of water, while being able to weekend with my wife and two young
children.
Is this a pipe dream? I'm starting to look at some of the Macgregor's and 23-26 ft O'days? Am I on the right track? Can I make anything
work for this nasty assortment of wants?
