Boat options for 6 month cruise in Caribbean

My family and another family are hoping to spend about 6 months cruising in the Caribbean starting January 2023 (so, one year from now). We are looking in to boat options. Ideally, we'd like 2 sail boats, each with 2 cabins, about 30-40ft, under $60,000USD, and in ready-to-go condition (or nearly). Another option would be to rent or lease boats from people in the area for that time. That would help us avoid the purchase and resale cycle. We would also be open to a 4 cabin cat.

Does anyone:
- Have a boat or boats like that they they are looking to sell or lease?
- Know of a good location to look for two boats like that (starting location is flexible)?
- Have any other ideas for boats?

I don't think a four cabin cat in any sort of shape is happening in your budget. Check out Yachtworld, you can specify location to see what is available now. Best places to me are St Martin, Grenada, Antigua, and Martinique.

I just posted some info about a boat that may fit your needs (for one boat of two) and it is located in proximity to Caribbean (gotta go through the Panama Canal, which could be fun for your family).

Also, if you do purchase a boat, pick one that may have broad appeal, so you can sell it later when you are done with your vacation or cruising. Most buyers would not want to buy a boat that is hard to unload or costly to keep, in uncertain times (covid).
