Not sure, but Im interested.. A beauty.
I was in Bimini
last fall and boat
that looked very very similar broke their rudder
off when going aground on the sand bar in some small swell on the way in. I dove the boat
for the owner- a very nice young lady. The rudder
seam/halves lamination and its overall composite construction schedule were downright pathetic: less than a half inch bonding surface and no laps over the seam, only a half frame with butt joint welds, total laminate thickness less than 3/16". Also, everything on the boat was electric
: winches, furler
, head- no solar
that I remember..
Obviously their entire cruising season was destroyed rather quickly. But the boat had the same cockpit
arrangement. With the U seat and small pilot house, rear wheel
. I will ask my wife if she can remember the name of the builder
Where was that picture taken?
