Chris,

I'm happy with the Manson 35lb. It appears to dig in very quickly, but also brings up quite a bit of seabed when it comes up. My anchor always sits on the roller and I haven't tried it in the locker so can't give you an answer on the fit. I'd be surprised if it didn't fit, it's a big deep locker and I never have to pull the chain away from under the winch when its coming in.

I'm slowly getting on top of my electrical supply problems with a new 80amp alternator going on in couple of days and a Sterling Power AB12130 smart charger ordered from RV PowerStream. My boat only came with 220amp/hours of house batteries, so fitting another battery is my next challenge. There's nowhere obvious to me to fit one.

It's been a great summer and we have been really enjoying some competitive cruising. These boats are not slow.

My boat is here but still in the commissioners yard.
How have you found your boat sitting in a cradle on a slipway?
Is it stable fore and aft?
Are you still a happy camper?

Chris.. just looked at my photos of the boat in the yard just after the keel was put on. There is one prop between the keel and the propeller skeg.

It's a fairly long bulb which is flat on the bottom so must be quite stable, but if people were walking around on the deck, I'd feel more comfortable with a prop or two.

We had a look at the new Bavaria 36 the other day and come away with pretty good feelings about our choice. I'm sure you will feel the same..

I have sailed my 37 twice over the last few weeks and am very happy with the way it goes. Raced last Sunday did OK.
I attempted to drain the water tanks yesterday via the sink tap. Once the for'ard tank emptied it did not automatically switch to the after tank. I can't find anything in the manual about it.
Do you know how to switch tanks?
