Hi everyone, it has been awhile since my last post, and I am sorry for that. Life on land has been pretty all consuming lately. Anyway, I am trying to change that by purchasing
my better half's and mine next home in a Beneteau
Idylle 13.5 that is for sale
. Just curious on the thoughts of using this boat
as a live aboard / longer distance cruiser. Wife and I have several years experience living in very cramped surroundings, so I do not foresee that as a problem. We have also spent as much time as we can since my last post learning
to sail and logging hours (even bought a 17 foot Rebel so we can sail anytime, anywhere the mood strikes us, btw, great way to feel the how the wind
effects the boat
, thanks to the contributor that advised me to buy a small boat
to learn in!). Budget
for outfitting and purchasing
is 100 - 120 k.
I look forward to hearing everyone's opinion regarding this, I know everyone has a favorite, and all suggestions are welcome!
Thanks again for letting me be a part of this community.
