Hi everyone, it has been awhile since my last post, and I am sorry for that. Life on land has been pretty all consuming lately. Anyway, I am trying to change that by
purchasing my better half's and mine next home in a
Beneteau Idylle 13.5 that is
for sale in
Miami. Just curious on the thoughts of using this
boat as a live aboard / longer distance cruiser. Wife and I have several years experience living in very cramped surroundings, so I do not foresee that as a problem. We have also spent as much time as we can since my last post
learning to sail and logging hours (even bought a 17 foot Rebel so we can sail anytime, anywhere the mood strikes us, btw, great way to feel the how the
wind effects the
boat, thanks to the contributor that advised me to buy a
small boat to learn in!).
Budget for outfitting and
purchasing is 100 - 120 k.
I look forward to hearing everyone's opinion regarding this, I know everyone has a favorite, and all suggestions are welcome!
Thanks again for letting me be a part of this community.
Fair Winds!
