Beneteau 411 or 423 model wanted

Hello All,

Some of you might remember me from last year. I was in the process of finding a 411, ex charter boat. After several flights and a LOT of kilometers however, I still did not find the right boat. I searched all over Croatia, all wrecks.

So... I'm still looking. All I want is a DECENT 411, preferrably privatly owned but charter boats can still be considered, just know I'll do extensive survey..

About the price: Right boat comes with the right price.

We charter from them on a regular basis; maintenance, in general, is always good. They seem to have a few dozen boats in Croatie. Ah, no Bene's.....

Location? There are a handful of 423's in Florida

There is an over priced 411 in Crystal River Florida that is in very nice shape. I looked at this boat a year ago. Owner said she would sell at the higher price and was not motivated. Did not care of boat sold or not.

It was a very clean 1999 for 150k USD and was a owner addition.

I looked at a fully loaded '99 461 for $120k. That's just outrageous

Agree the 1999 411 Bene is way over priced. I was told the boat was a ridicules low price. I was told by a fellow living at the marina was 38K. I was excited to jump and buy this boat. When the live aboard owner told me the price I thought it was as much over priced as the 38K was underpriced.

Again - the owner was not motivated to sell this boat. Even the pics are not even serious.

I have a very nice 04 Bnt 423 in my brokerage. It's on yachtworld.com or go to my website Little Yacht Sales.
I am also about to get in 30 days a 2 owner 2000 bnt 411 that is not online yet. It's being surveyed next week as a potential trade on a new boat.
1 year old sails and new standing rigging, generator and a.c. Very clean and extremely well maintained. Not on the internet yet but I can send you some pics of it if you want to email me at kent@littleyachtsales.com. Expected asking will be $118-119 depending on survey. We also just sold a very nice sistership to this boat in florida with no genset at 110K, so I think the value on this boat is nice.
I wouldn't even consider an ex charter 411 at this age unless you are an extremely tight budget but my experience is that the owner saves up front on the charter and puts it all back in fixing all the worn out gear, sails, engine, etc. For just a little more up front you can get a never chartered low hour private boat.

I looked at 411's years ago. I concluded the 411 "Celebbration" was the best series as it has a deeper keel, taller mast too and will sail rings around the std 411.

One drawback, thy were only made with a dark blue hull ...

This is quite an old post... In the meantime I've found my 411 and am very happy with it :-)
