Beneteau 393

Wow. I am totally enamored with this boat, particularly the 2 cabin version. The storage area opposite the dining table in lieu of a settee (what a waste) is visionary not to mention the pullman berth and forward head.

Is there plenty of walk room between the two in the saloon? Is the aft cabin large even with the big lazerette on the port side.

Anybody in the Houston area with a 393 need a crew?

These is lots of room in the aft cabin, almost too much.

The U shaped galley is a very nice feature, rather than the lineal galley on the 3 cabin version.

The settee opposite the dining table is where I do my best contemplating (read - napping) and the most popular place for guests to sit which is why I'd consider it an essential interior design prerequisite. Each to his own...

The conventional argument against a pullman berth is the difficulty of the inboard person to access/exit but that too is a personal preference. Just don't be too quick to condemn ("what a waste") that which you don't like.

I was hardly condemning (rather harsh) and definitely not quick about it.. Big difference between a 40 and 50 footer.

Is it possible to lower the saloon table down to make a double birth on the 393 3 cabin layout. Many thanks.
