Hey there guys and gals,
I recently bought a 2008 343 with the intentions of mainly sailing up and down the
east coast and into the
Bahamas etc etc...I've upgraded it significantly and love the
boat very much...as a younger guy I feel like at some point I would like to do some open ocean "blue water" passages, albeit in the distant future...has anyone done any long distance
offshore sailing in a 343?
Like I said I have done extensive upgrades so I would hate to sell it but I also have been doing quite a bit of reading on
full keel boats (after I purchased this one), particularly the
Island Packet 35...for what I paid for my 343 the
Island Packet would be 20 years older but obviously a very sturdy
boat...any and all
advice is greatly appreciated!
