Bayfield 40

I have a friend who is looking at a Bayfield 40. It is a beautiful boat that appears to be a good liveaboard/cruising vessel. Does anyone have any knowledge of the Bayfields?

Decent quality vessel made in Canada by the same builders as Gozzard though much less expensive.

Very solid boat. You might want to check out www.bayfieldyachtowners.org web site. Lots of information and a really good bunch of people. I have the Bayfield 32 and it is a gem to sail, especially when the wind really gets up there and everyone else is heading back to harbour.

Is this the boat in the Dominican Republic for sale.

I've checked out the Bayfield site and it is very good. I'm not finding much other information thought, especially on the 40.
We stumbled onto this one in Bradenton, FL
