That 2005 Bavaria had yet to adopt the open
cockpit, dropdown swim platform, two
wheel, German sheeted, high aspect main, self-tending
jib, flush
deck, etc... And it sailed a lot heavier than the 375.
The Bavaria C class look just like the
current class of Hanses, and a poster in that other thread recommended to you to get a Bavaria instead of a Hanse, so my question stands.
Incidentally, when you go on the
Sailboat Data listing for the older Bavaria, you get this note:
Similar to BAVARIA 36 (1998).
Not to be confused with the BAVARIA 37 CRUISER (2013).
Looks to me like the company changed hands, and the new boats are designed by the same people who design the Hanses.
