Are there any VD Stadt 40 Norman owners here?

Hello CF,
I am looking into a Norman 40 that came on the market at a reasonable price, and interested in hearing from current and past owners absolutely their experiences and thought about this design, and things to look out for. I am interested in a cruising vessel to circumnavigate with my family and need a safe blue water rated vessel. This particular VD Stadt Norman 40 has a steel hull that was recently refurbished. I am worried about corrosion and upkeep with steel, but like the fact that steel is strong and safe. I could not find an owners group. If anyone has any links or info to share I would highly appreciate it.

Also, those of you with steel boats, what are your thoughts? I have met those who swore never again to have steel, and others who want nothing else. I am tempted but conflicted.
