Yes. Possible and relatively easy unless it is too windy or too much current. One long oar and sculling is easier than two oars and rowing.

Ask you marina if they are OK with this. Some marinas do not let you row in nor sail in.

If I had more beam and same freeboard, I'd use 12 footers. I am rowing from the cockpit. I can pull or push. It's true sculling gives you a more constant thrust since you are getting thrust with both the push and the pull, but oars give you both forward and reverse. I may yet set up an oarlock on the stern rail for sculling too. The Carlisles may not be the best design for sculling though. Pardon the less than bristol boat there... cosmetics still in the process.......
