Anyone know anything about Beneteau 432 Mooring?

We are looking to pick one up but it seems like you can't find anything on the internet about them except that there are some for sale.

I read it might be essentially a 430 but from what I've seen that doesn't look right either.

Any help would be awesome!

I believe (am not 100% certain) that it was a special 3 cabin, 2 head model built for a major charter fleet from 1988 - 1990, and never sold directly to the public. Any you find now would have served in bareboat charter for a while, then spent the last 20 - 25 years in private hands. It's derived from the Oceanis 430 design.
Apply all the usual precautions for shopping for a used boat that you know was heavily abused in charter service; in particular, find a surveyor with significant expertise in structural issues with hull & deck core, keel joints, and rudders. I don't know if this specific model is prone to problems in those areas, but ex-charter boats in general can be beat up pretty heavily on the structural side, and hidden structural damage can quickly take a boat's value to near zero when it's discovered.

Moorings has some kind of relationship with Beneteau which they describe as " The Moorings partners closely with yacht builder Beneteau for 37- to 54-foot sailing monohulls customized for sailing charter vacations." I do not know what those customizations might be.

I don't know about the 432 Moorings , what I know is that the have Oceanis 42.3 going out of commission in some bases.

They are very good , and professionally maintained , I bought mine in Belize.

The one that we are buying is laid out EXACTLY as the Mooring 432.

But the Survey calls it an Oceanis 42 or something... don't have it handy right now.

I have a 1988 Moorings 432 which I bought in 2011. Mine was put in service in Tortola where it was a Moorongs charter for maybe 6 yrs. Then it went to a secondary charter before being purchased by a private owner on approximately 2003. Anyway, I’ve enjoyed mine until I had a fire about 18 months ago. I’ve been refitting it since. If you run into one now, I’m sure it’s been repowered and has a more recent windlass. The original layout didn’t include a holding tank, electronics except a Datamarine depth instrument and speed log, or air conditioning. The Goiot hatches and ports are phenomenal. The hull is very thick and the boat handles well. Hull speed is about 8 kts.
