Any Jeanneau 34 Sunrise owners?

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone here owns or has any experience with Jeanneau`s 34 foot Sunrise model? I am in the process of purchasing one (1988 vintage with deep fin keel) and the pre-purchase survey will happen next week.

I was wondering if there were anything in particular we should be looking for that might be problematic about this model? Any commonly seen defects or manufacturing "faux-pas". Commonly changed parts? Was Jeanneau building good boats at that time?

This model does not seem to have been popular in North America so I can't seem to find much regarding how these models have held up over time. Heck Jeanneau boats in general don't seem that popular in North America.

I personally think the model has a lot to offer and seems reasonably seaworthy, at least for what I can foresee myself doing.

Anything that can be shared regarding this model would be greatly appreciated.
