I have recently bought a Facil 26 as my first
boat (Swedish design) and I was wondering if anybody knows how this
boat holds up in comparison to the
Albin Vega or the
Maxi 77, which seem to be the closest equivalents in type and
price in
Sweden? The Vega seems to be notorious for its ability to do blue-water passages (not that this is my plan in any way, shape or form!!!)... but is there anything the Vega has which the Facil 26 doesn't in terms of quality or design that has led to its fame other than having had risk-taking owners? I know there is a Facil club in
Sweden with an enthusiastic following to whom this question could be posed, but I'd like a wider perspective.
