It would help if you had posted a line drawing of a Chinook 34...

Re: any canadian built similar to chinook34???

If Canadian built, these two Alberg designs look similar but with not quite the overhands:

Alberg 37 - Used Sailboat Market in Canada

Alberg 30 - Used Sailboat Market in Canada

It looks like a cross between a Hullmaster 31, also known as a Douglas 32

and an Alberg 30

Both are Canadian boats.

Re: any canadian built similar to chinook34???

The Spencers are quite narrow & many of the 42, 35, 30 & 28 footers were bought as hull & deck projects. John Brandlmayr designed them. I almost bought a 35 footer last winter, but waited too long to pull the trigger. usually one or two for sale around B.C./Wash. State.

LOL Most of the interiors on the 35's & smaller are "owner installs" so I've seen good & bad over the years. The one I considered buying, "SeaWyf", had a pretty "utilitarian" interior, much like some of the Rawson 30's, functional, at best, but not very appealing. Lots of offshore stories on that site, by owners.
