Isn't that what we're here for? New ideas to pour money down that hole?

Re: Any advice on a 1981 Cheoy Lee 35?

I surveyed a 1983 Cheoy Lee 35 last year and she was ok. The interior plywood bulkheads were starting to delaminate. There was no osmosis which was a surprise. The deck had already had the teak removed so that was all good. If it's cheap and the rig and motor are fine it could be a cheap way to get on the water.

Cheers

My friend has a CL 30 of similar vintage. His has lots of mat fiberglass but very thick and supposedly following Lloyd's specs, whatever those were. I don't think it was chopper gun. If the PO has taken care of the mast and deck I'd say that's 2 major items done for you. My friend's is a Luders 30 with no keel bolts. I thought this one did not have them either, but I could be wrong. I'd say it may be a very good deal worth considering.
