Allied satilboats, seabreze vs ludders vs princess

We are thinking about our next sailboat and have been comparing the allied seabreeze, ludders and princess. These sailboats seem similar and suitable for passage making with appropriate repairs/upgrades.

I have not seen them in person, only in pictures, videos, drawings, etc so I am hopping for some experienced opinions here.

The seabreeze was the first built and seems to have been intended as a racer/cruiser in her day. She is good looking to me with her yawl rig and overhangs and nice sheer. The interior is available with a std or dinnette layout and has lots of storage. The centerboard offers benefits and potential problems. I like the centerboard but am unsure how useful it would be offshore and how troublesome they are in the seabreeze.

The ludders came out next and was produced along with the seabreeze. She is good looking as well with a little less overhang. The keel is fixed and was only offered as a sloop. The interior seems the same as the dinnette seabreeze.

The princess seems to have replaced both the seabreeze and ludders as a cruiser, not a racer. She was available as a ketch or cutter. The high bow hurts her looks but should make her dryer on deck. The interior is similar but has a quarter berth and a more compact galley.

How do these boats compare?

We have been sailing for several years and plan to do some extensive cruising around the world in a few years. Just love the look of these style boats. We will be on a limited budget but are very good at repairs, mechanical, electrical, etc.

Thx-Ace

Here is a link to the Luders 33 association:

You might find something of use in the Plastic Classic social group here too:

My friend has a Luders 30 (Cheoy Lee) and it sails very nicely. It is not super fast but it chugs along quite comfortably. I like the Luders designs myself quite a bit.
