Catalina 34, might be headroom challenged, but the world's most HUGE V berth, so if you can't stand up, at least you'll lie down comfortably! ; Catalina 355.

Stu - I'm tempted to repeat the old line about it being hard to get a woman to lie down in a boat she can't stand up in... I guess I just did.

Re: Aft head, sub-35', tall guy, prospects
You might want to scratch the aft head requirement if it's soft, which will open up your options significantly.
I think a Catalina 30 or bigger is going to be your best bet. It's famous for having good headroom for it's size. I'm 6'1" and never headroom to be an issue on those I've been on, although the headroom has changed over the years as they have tinkered with the design.

Re: Aft head, sub-35', tall guy, prospects
I think there was a Niagara 35 with an aft head interior layout...? Where was the head on the Morgan OI33?

Yup. Cat 30 head is forward.
Catalina 34 is aft, is a nice boat for those purposes.
Maybe a catalina 320 would be a good look-at too, it has an aft head.

Yeah... kinda mid aft If I remember right... friends had one. Weird layout, big double Pullman forward of the head. Nice in a seaway I suppose as it was midships, but he head was aft of that. Cant remember if the head door was from aft or...? Must have been.

Hey Funjohnson - I was just on her blog! Fascinating (and terrifying) cost info there. Would you say that someone 6'2" could generally move about without ducking?
