Affordable Moorage in BC

Hello, Friends,
I am just about despairing of finding a spot in BC to keep a boat that I can actually afford. Does anybody know of a marina where a boat could live, summer and winter, in the water and, preferably, on hard in the winter, for a total cost under $2,000? Let's call it a 26-foot boat. I'm not buying until I find such a place, whether on the coast or on some decent lake. I hope somebody out there knows of this hidden treasure.

You might take a drive around both the middle and south arm of the Lower Fraser River. It was many years ago but I lived aboard in a couple of out of the way marinas with very few neighbors and they were super cheap! In those days power was installed but a little unreliable. If it went out, it was never more than a day or two... Easy to put up with if you had company and generated your own heat! Great memories!! Phil
