A switch marked AW/MW

I found this double throw switch buried deep in a Lazerette, any one know what its for ?

If I dont know what something does and cant spend the time to trace the wiring I disconnect it and wait and see what doesnt work. Just make sure bilge pumps still work. And charging systems still work.

Thanks to all, I,m going to try and trace the lines tmw. I did switch from MW to AW and I couldn't see any difference in anything. I really done think its and antenna switch. Tune in for the next chapter tmw.

Two switches I have seen is, one to bypass fridge thermostat so you can get temp down low when motor is on, and one that shuts down alternator so you dont get interference when using Hf radio with motor on.
A wild guess... Changes which battery bank is getting charged

Automatic vs Manual..... Winch? For something not used all the time, maybe the anchor?

Could it read "MW/LW"? That would a radio switch in German for "Mittelwelle / Langwelle" (mid-range and long-range frequencies).
