Hey Jon....

Do you have a site showing all your work? Sound like you have us beat. We've been on the hard 4 years working on ours. Hope to put in the water this summer.

Jon, how much of the work did you do yourself? Hiring all of it done would cost a fortune.

Most of the work was contracted. Yes it added up. I also became a real good general contractor...

However a lot of it required very special skills [painting etc] and tools that I do not have. While I can do basic fiberglass and electrical work the experience that a guy who does it everyday was added value. It was better for me to hire experts to do it right once while I worked than to take 3X or more as long for me to do on weekends or vacations. Some of the stuff I did but it was not the big jobs.
