I have a love affair with two boats that are complete opposites and that I will never own. The first one I saw when I was a teen in Bermuda
, Ticonderoga a Herreshoff design, classic
wooden timeless. The other one is new to me and quite the opposite, modern, sleek and aluminum
I think. Shogun is a Bill Dixon design and she comes and anchors outside my kitchen window for me to admire every once and a while. I think they both are fine designs in their own right and if someone would like to give them to me well....
