A full-service marina in Miami area?

Seeking referrals to a marina in the Miami - Biscayne Bay - Coral Gables area to prepare 35' sailboat for OTR transport. Thanks in advance.

There are several marinas in the Miami area that can haul you. But you will need to be sure they can load you on a truck and haul you out. Overhead obstructions and power ilnes can be a problem. Yards with lifts are, Norseman Shipbuilding, Merrill-Stevens, Miami Yacht and Engine Works, and Jones Boatyard on the Miami River. There are also several in Ft. Lauderdale, on the New River, probably a better choice. Chuck

Take a look at Hurricane Hole, about 5 miles up the Miami River. But it's only a 'hurricane hole' for a storm if your boat is on the hard, according to them.

They *may* let you do the work yourself if you want.
