the wind will come back just be patient, you have a good chance of NE in the north sea then easterlies in the channel with high pressure over the uk this time of year...problem is it only lasts about 3 days before the SWlies come back

make sure your charts for hoek of holland to dover are the latest, and updated they seem to be putting up a new wind farm every week in the area.

if you do end up in falmouth whilst im away you can get sonia on 07990814993 cheers alex

... any idea where you will stay in Kiel? You probably know that the 'small locks' are closed and you will use the big locks ...

If you need a ride within Kiel for whatever reason (or need company for a beer) let me know!

Regards,

Carsten

Nagging? Or just begging for an adequate bottled water supply? And a sunshower, too, don't forget that!

I think I still have your old Spot link saved...

Re: A delivery.. again.. lmao

Not sure that Lena is gonna like sleeping on sail bags. Have the owners fitted her out for any kind of comfort? How about heat for the first part of the trip? Will that boat actually heave to, or will she be fore reaching while you snooze? We are all wise to your habits now Atoll seems likely to be busy while your enroute so you won't be interrupted by pre mature rescue. Good luck and fair winds.
