32' Elite

I saw a Yatchworld listing for a 32' Elite that for use reason that I can't really put my finger on I'm attracted to. Since I had never heard of Elite I did a search and found nothing as far as a company building sailboats called Elite Yatchs. I even tried expanding the Yatchworld search hoping that within the listings there would be something more to use in my search. Not that many Elite monohulls even are listed in the world which makes me wonder if this is a company that only build a few boats and then flamed out. So now I'm going to try the thrown the net out; anyone know anything about these?

I think they were built by Kirie a French or Belgium company. They also built a boat line called Feeling. I think some of the Elites were built in Quebec in the eighties. Don't know if Kirie is still around.

the boat you are looking at is in fact built as a feeling brand boat, my father and I raced on a 30' 1/2 tonner with 3/4 fractional rig back in the 80's, they also made a club racer version of the same size, they are not 32' they are a little longer, I believe 33 1/2' but don't tell the dock master that, this will save you some $'s.
