Anyone ever hear of the 30' Golden Gate Odyssey? Any info, experience, knowledge, history, advice? I'm looking for a blue water capable boat for 1-2 people to sail through the SPac for about 3 years.
Thanks for your help,
John
John:
Did you come to the right place! I have owned my Golden Gate 30 for 3-years now, had Chuck Burns (the designer) aboard, done lots of research, plan on cruising in the next couple of years and...have created a website (http://farallon.klubko.net/ it's not as "slick" as I'd like but I'm a sailor, not a 'puter geek :-). I have LOTS of pics and files, etc. Let me know what you need.
Where are you located?
John

We can't change the wind - but we can adjust our sails.
The Puerto Galera Yacht Club, Mindoro Island, Philippines, has just bought a GG30, Guinevere II, built in 1982, to add to its dinghy fleet to teach local schoolchildren how to sail. We're trying to get hold of a builder's certificate so that we can re-register the vessel. Any owners out there with ideas? Odyssey Yachts went out of business a few years ago.
