2QM15 Yanmar

Hi all,
I have a 33 year old sail boat with inboard Yanmar engine that had the model number 2QM15.
I am no expert by any means, can someone tell me what these letters and numbers mean.

Thank you.

Re: 2QM15 Yanmar

The 2 indicates the number of cylinders.

The 15 is the engines horsepower rating.

Not sure about the letters.
